Hi, we are planning on going to the Temptation resort on the Week of March 13 to the 21 2010. We have some questions for the past guests. 1) What type of weather and temperature could we expect. 2) Is March a busy time for the resort. ( Bigger the crowd, Bigger the party.) 3) What is the condition of the beach. 4) Why do poeple say that the pool is cold. 4) What`s the deal with the weeds. Can we still go in the ocean for water sports. 5) Is it safe to leave the resort. can we go walking on other beaches. 7) Is there a night club at the resort to dance. 8) As anybody tried the A.T.V. tour. My wife and myself are not swingers but are very sexual and open minded. (What happens in Cancun stays in Cancun ).The resort looks like a good party place.
Hello 1) What type of weather and temperature could we expect. I go every march around the same time, weather is always perfect just about every day, low to mid 80's, its like the movie groundhogs day, same temp every day. 2) Is March a busy time for the resort. ( Bigger the crowd, Bigger the party March is Spring Break in Cancun, which i do not think it affects the resort since its adults only, but thats also when teachers are usually off and some professors, So I do think late march and april are busier, thats just my opinion. 3) What is the condition of the beach. I thinnk the beach is fine, its the calm water side, so no waves so you get a build up of weeds, but there is still some great parts for swimming, Yes I usually walk down the beach past other resorts, Steve can confirm this, but i believe the beach is State owned so you can walk along the beach all the way to town... there is also a public beach down town , wave side, little more..... however YES in Temptation you can get the jet skis and paddle boats and windsurfing etc. It is safe to leave the resort, I think cancun has been one of the safer places ive visited, ive walked around the city both during the day and late late at night. 7) Is there a night club at the resort to dance There is a disco at the hotel, they usually have something going on every night, there is also music at the main bar and sometimes live bands, the hotel also is sponsored by a different night club each night, so for a rather cheap fee you get a shuttle bus to the club that is sponsoring and you get your drinks included..... I have never tried the ATV tour but im sure someone on here has.. I hope this helped a little bit, you will have a blast, as far as the swinger thing goes, you will fit in perfectly with what we call the Swayers lol.....its all one big party and everyone you meet is great..

Another good reason not to ban cameras entirely - they serve as good tools to explain & show guests before they arrive, things about the resort :!: Well done backs13  Scott
We are going the exact same week and are also first timers, good questions! Can't wait to see you guys there!
Why do poeple say that the pool is cold. The pools are not heated so if you go when the nights are chilly, the pool water is colder than in the warmer months. What`s the deal with the weeds. Can we still go in the ocean for water sports. Seaweed is all over the place. It washes up on the beach and they rake it everyday. It is in clusters in the water. You can still go in the water and just move around the clusters. People are in it everyday and most don't find it that bad. Is it safe to leave the resort. can we go walking on other beaches. If you turn left on the beach (towards town), you can walk for at least a couple of miles. If you like to walk, it's a good walk past a few public beaches, other hotels such as the Holiday Inn, etc. Suz and I like this walk. If you turn right(towards the big Mexican flag) you can't go real far because there is a waterway that cuts through into the inland lagoons or whatever they call them. Go left.
