We are considering bring a few adult toys for the trip. But not real sure how to pack them so we don't get busted down in the airport with them lol. They done have batteries in the 2 we are wanting to take, but a little worried about the baggage check and x-ray. Can anyone give us a few pointers on bringing them with us or should we just leave them at home?
they have seem it all before- common!!!! make sure batt. are removed. searched ours on the way out-- opened the carry on-- told they was our dirty clothed -- minor search!
'batteries removed,, clear plastic bag in bottom of suitcase. most rechargeable toys have a travel mode. Hold the power button for 10 seconds or so,, to re-activate reverse procedure enjoy
Customs doesn't care. Just like any electronics, remove batteries so it doesn't switch on in flight, and pack in checked baggage. You'll not have a problem. Got the full search on the way back this time (happens...traveling with someone with similar name to someone a watch list) with the usual a load of different toys, some fairly exotic, and there was no issue. They've seen it all and don't care...not even a raised eye-brow. They're just looking for drugs.

I think you should hope to get searched. It usually makes for an amusing story. It's not like the Mexican customs officials are people you are going to have to worry about a lasting relationship with unless you are bringing in contraband. You should be more worried about having too many cigarettes and getting busted on fees.
Whatever you do REMOVE THE BATTERIES !!!!!!!! While we were waiting for our transfer Tina asked me why our bag was buzzing..................... oops..... good thing I knew right where I packed them :lotsofmichaelfs: :icon_redface: :icon_redface:
We always keep them right on top, so they don't rummage through everything if they decide to take a peak (and they have). Of course, I always have them packed in hubby's checked bag. :wink3: LOL. Two years ago, they confiscated our duct tape. :blueshock: Party poopers. LOL.
