Hey guys, just spent some time reading the forum and you all sound like so much fun! I'm a 21 year old girl from the US and I've never done anything like this, but I'm super interested in it. I just had a couple of quick questions before I decide to book my trip. 1) is this the type of place where a single girl like myself can meet and hook up with single men or is it more of a couples oriented place? all your trip stories sound great, but i was wondering if these party nights are the type of thing where people bring others back to their room or just a wild party and then everyone goes home to their significant other. 2) the whole clothing optional thing. do most people go nude or topless? would i be uncomfortable if i do not want to go nude or topless? thank you guys so much for your advice. can't wait to make it down there for my first Temptation experience!!!
1) If you meet a guy/girl/couple etc that you hit it off with and want to hook up with then it's all good. There will always be a few single guys around (some weeks more than others, if you go between the 15th and 29th of this month I know of at least one single guy lol), so no worries there. Definitely more couples than singles but there are always some around. 2) In public areas topless is ok, but full nude isn't outside of brief exposure during some of the games. That being said some of the ladies suits I have seen could qualify as dental floss so you have a lot of room to be creative. Hope that answers some of your questions and have fun!
there is plenty of single guys down there.. its not all couples.. and yes there are guys that will be very willing to go to your room if thats what your looking for.. as for clothing, its a topless optional resort.. i may have or seen a few people naked for a minute at the most but its really not aloud there..few activities sometimes make it happen..you def would have a blast at Temptation..ill be there in 2 weeks for the forth time
I guess I'll add this from a couple’s perspective... First I think you can have a fantastic time if you are relaxed around people getting crazy and having a good time. Think of it like a college frat party for adults. If you can handle watching that without freaking out, then you'll be just fine. I say watching that because the level of your participation is completely up to you. Party or watch, topless or not, drinking or sober it's all up to you. We repeaters never allow things to be forced upon folks that are hanging with us. We understand that if you aren't comfortable, you ain't happy and unhappy are not allowed. Another great thing about hanging out with the repeaters and couples is that you have a safe base to work from. Call them little sisters or Cancun daughters over the years we have taken single girls under out wings while they are there. With a safe home base they can always venture out with a guy and if it doesn’t work come back to the group. If an unwanted guy follows then we play big brother/dad and show him the errors of his ways. If she finds a good guy and brings him back to the group.. all the better. And yes, there are single guys there so if your choice was a different guy every night you could accomplish the task with no problem. So I think you made the best first step in coming to this board with all the repeaters and checking what’s happening. Asking questions is the next best step. You could be three for three if you decide to jump in and join us in May. But whatever month you choose, know that we operate like a family, we never leave anyone at the bar by themselves unless we are sure that’s what they want and they are in a condition to make that decision. Welcome to the board. As Jamie said you made a great decision in asking the questions that you did and he hit it right on. I can speak from both sides - married and single. My husband and I have gone to TTR several times and met several lifelong friends that we now call our Cancun Family. We were hooked from our first trip and made the decision to return every single year since that first time. Loved it more and more each time and met more and more GREAT friends! Now fast forward several years - I am now single (widowed) and made a trip back to TTR last fall. Trust me I was so nervous for several reasons, but the biggest was that I was going without my bodyguard (my husband). I didn't know what to expect or know if I could still relax and have as much fun as I had on the trips when I was there with him. As soon as I got there, I met up with my friends and met several new ones and they all were very, very supportive and protective of me. My Cancun friends are some of my very closest friends and I am so very excited to be able to be going to see several of them very soon. The crazy thing is - I only see them once a year while I'm there in Cancun. You need to just jump right in and join the party. I'll be going there in May from the 18th - 24th and I'd be happy to take you under my wing and show you the ropes. Its a great time and after one trip, you'll return for a 2nd or 3rd - but know that after just the 1st trip, you'll come home a new woman. Hope to see you in May!! Hugs -

depends on your age group... im new to the hotel zone but it seems like the younger crowd likes places like oasis cancun; that's why i booked there in a week
