ok im not sure where to go with this question so i thought i would ask here. Say i have a friend from canada who is going to visit the uk, then we think it would be a good idea for said friend to visit as planned, but to join us on a package holiday to another country from the uk. Is this ok, as they are canadian and not uk citizen? I think it would be fine, as people get flights to and from countrys they dont live in all the time but i wouldnt want to be proven wrong
wouldn't/couldn't said Canadian friend purchase the flight and all other necesities for the holiday while still in Canada?
nope, becauase it is package holiday we have to all book together and go on together. Could maybe do it seperate but that would mean friend going back to canada then all the way to new holiday destination and things alone
She just has to make sure that whatever country she will be visiting that she will not need a visa in addition to her passport to enter as a Canadian citizen.
If you are traveling by air, I think you'll have to book the airfare and the rest seperate so that said short brown-haired Canadian can be included.
oo thanks i will look. It would serve canada right not to be accepted to new country after they refused the entry of my mince pies i sent!!
I was actually wondering about this...the brochure has info about uk things..like health insurance etc....nothing about non uk residents... maybe call them? Or I can e-mail? A quick search tells me it's actually cheaper to fly to UK, then purchase one of those packages, than fly to said destination directly (just air, no hotel). This makes absolutely no sense to me - a bit like a return train ride being more expensive than 2 one-way train tickets..... I think I need a visa as well?
As long as the final destination accepts Canadians, no problem. Always best to check with your travel agent.
