We booked for November 17th-21st, wondering how the Jacuzzi rooms are? Planning on having a blast and giving a little show from the Jacuzzi.:aktion014: Also, what clubs should we visit offsite?
The jacuzzi room was awesome for us, we stayed in room 105 right next to where people walk by and say hello so its a great room for showing off. We had 6 couples join us in the jacuzzi one night. lol When we go back in May 2012 we are going to try and get that room again!!
They do take some time to fill but are nice if you find the time to use it. A few friends chose this upgrade each time we visited and left not using it one time. As far as clubs to visit. The resort staff goes out each night and that schedule can vary. This is the best way to go most times. It also depends what you are looking for as well. Shows versus pure dance clubs. For dancing, we tried Mandala our last visit and it was a great time. Open air club thats ACd as well. Good mix of music. Not a great set up but not as bad as other cubs. Sweet (lounge type of place)is on our list for next time. Daddy O, although older,is still one of our favorites. There is also the City, Basic, and Bulldogs. For a really unique experience, CoCo Bongo is usually a must at least 1 time. It has various shows that tend to be a bit corny to say the least lol. But really cool and after the shows are done they actually do play a pretty good mix. If you like to go off on your own the open air clubs such as Dos XX, congo, and Slices are a lot of fun, as is Senor Frogs. One of other favorites for just a fun time bar is Frogs. Corny interactive games, a good DJ and some decent live music. You'll find varying opinions on the clubs in Cancun as you do with soda or ice cream flavors. But if you go out with the TTR staff and friends from the resort it usually equals a great time. Have fun!!
We upgraded this past visit and also happened to be in the group who never got to use it! The jacuzzi room we got wasn't as clean as the regular room we had so if we had to do it again we wouldn't have paid the extra amount to upgrade. Our room was in the wing by Nice Shoes and that whole hallway has a dirty/musty smell!
We've stayed in one the last 5 times there... we'll worth the upgrade- and you don't have to stagger up any stairs after a day and night of boozing.... if you can get one near the quiet pool bar (not sure of the numbers...) Lulu the daytime bartender will serve you drinks on your patio also!!
We just got back from Temptations and had a jacuzzi room, we were practically right on the quiet pool. We loved the room, because we are quiet pool people. We felt we needed the shade because we were right on top of the pool and it gives complete privacy during the day. Our second night in town we were sitting at the bikini bar at the quiet pool and noticed we could clearly see a couple in their jacuzzi in the room next to us. We were in a little shock and asked the bartender if all the shades are see thru at night and he replied "yep" our faces turned a little red and we learned that we unexpectantly gave a balcony show on her first night
Ask for a quote on the Drops of Love Package, sometimes the price difference is low and well wroth it, it includes the Jaccuzi and a whole lot more
We loved our Jacuzzi room in May (and wrote down the numbers of the room we had for next time and a couple others nearby). We like to sleep when we go to bed. They are quiet and on the first floor with a decent view. "Jacuzzi" isn't great but the location is good. Also the beach beds are fairly available at the end of the resort...an added bonus if you just want to relax on the beach near an uncrowded bar and your room.
