Was wondering what brands of tequila and vodka Temptations carries. My husband is very picky when it comes to tequila and its all he drinks as I am picky with my vodka. Should we bring our own?
If your looking for Shirnoff or Absolute. They won't have it. Not sure of the name but it's shit. There is a liquor store across the street. As Canadians we can bring three bottles in the country. Not sure about the states. I always bring some of my own and have the bartenders put it behind the bar just for me.
I would say if you are picky bring your own. How do you drink your spirits? Do you take your drink straight or on the rocks? I found both the tequila and vodka a bit watered down at times.
Jose especial. Some local brand that I was not familiar with that was only 65 proof. The best that they have in tequila is Cazadores (might have spelled that wrong) It has a stag or elk on the label. Pretty good I thought. Can't help with the vodka.
Alcohol They carry Skyy, Smirnoff, and also (more rarely) Absolute for vodka. For tequila they have Jose and El Jimador. The BIG SECRET to getting the good stuff (not watered down) is to tip consistently.
Here we go again with the watered down drinks. Just ask for double the alchol and drink plenty. Problem solved.
If the drinks are watered down we've never had a problem with being sober! If they gave us the good stuff we'd be passed out before dinner lol.:ernaehrung015:
Vodka Angela says she won't drink any vodka except Absolute so we brought a bottle with us. A strange thing happened though. As soon as we hit the sexy pool on the first day she started drinking whatever vodka they poured her and the only complaint she ever had was that her glass was empty too often. We left an almost full handle of absolute in the room when we checked out:daveandmo:
With the pool events & then all of the night time themes.....I could easily drink a bottle by myself in a day! I sure hope they are stocked up for our trip!!!
