I never visit Mexico (or SB ) before so my question is, what do you do with your money, passport when you´re on the beach ? I mean not the beach to chill but rather the partys at the beach. Second question is mobile phone? stay at the Hotel or take along to the beach. in Europe there often do passport controls , so when you haven´t take your passport to the beach it was crap thanks for your help! and sorry for my english arriiibbaaaaaaaa :bandit:
Although a lot of Americans go to Mexico for SB its nothing like being in America in terms of clubbing or ID so in saying that LEAVE YOUR PASSPORT IN YOUR ROOM SAFE. As for your money try and keep it on you when possible, if your going for a swim then put it in a bag and try to keep the bag in eye sight. If not then dig a hole in the sand and place your flip flop to mark the treasure ha. Also don't take all your money. You'll have a budget for each day (If not then just divide your money by your trips duration) , i would take half of your day budget so if your money did go missing this wont effect your night time budget. Finally mobile phone... I have an expensive phone so that wont be leaving the hotel room, however i am taking a cheap/old phone to take out with me and if i loose that then...... not bothered. hope this helps.
I have made 11 trip there and have never had a problem with anything at all. I have left money on the night table and it was there when I got back, as for passport I put it in my bag and never have needed it again till the airport.
Why risk it? Keep money and password in the safe. Phone I carry with me because I'm on call for work even on vacation.
Why the hell would you Carry your passport with you? When they don't ask for ID to drink or get into clubs lol..... Theres only 3 things in my pocket... Condom, room key and the 100$ dollars for the night...
