Public Holiday, Nov 2?

Does anybody know if Mon, Nov2, is a public holiday? If so, what services do you expect will be closed? If so, I wish somebody had told me, earlier, I'd have got up to something!

 

Nov. 2 is El Dia de los Muertos and today is a Catholic holiday called All Saints' Day. Laura is telling me that public schools and other government offices will be closed tomorrow, and that many shops might be closed up as well.

Well, I don't mind at all! Thanks, everybody.

 

It is not a legal holiday and, like most businesses in any resort town, almost everything will be open. Mexico is a "lay" state when it suits but many religious holidays are "days off" especially if they fall close to a weekend.
