Just wondering if anyone has used the private excusions to Xplor/Chichen etc? How much time does it end up saving with the standard transport? I have been on some that can take a long time to go through and pick people up, but would like to know first hand if it is worth the extra cost. Also will they stop along the way as well if there is something you want to look at or check out on the way?
We did both in 2014 and 2015 you will need a group to go though the first time we had 14 people and the second time we had 10 or 12 of us we booked with USA Transfers. Cost was about $135.00 per person. You will love Xplor lot of walking and climbing! Great for a no booze day lol
We plan to go to Xplor next Tuesday Aug 18. From what I can tell it is 127 per person for public transportation and 143 per person for private shuttle with 4 people. The more people in the shuttle the cheaper it becomes per person. My only question is the return trip home with either service. With public, do you have to wait until the park closes at 5 before you can return to the resort? We are also open to welcoming others who may be interested in going next Tuesday.
Not sure with Public tour but with the Private Tour we just called them up and told them we were ready to go earlier and then they sent the driver earlier to pick us up otherwise he would have been there when the parked closed before opening up again for Xplor Fuego.
