private car rental

    hi
    will be visiting for about a month (oct 12 to nov 12) more or less.....
    would like to know if anybody would like to make some extra money in low season or if anybody knows anybody that would like to make some....

    i need to rent a car for local driving only... good condition and insured...etc etc

    I think that many people here feel lucky to have a car...so they are not likely to rent it out to a stranger. And most Mexicans I know here are really proud of their cars and I can't imagine them renting them out. Personally I need my car, if I didn't need it I wouldn't own it, so I wouldn't rent it out.

    There are heaps of vehicle rental shops on most every corner here...at least in centro, which is where I live. You should not have any problem finding a professional business to rent a vehicle from.

    If nothing else, the local buses and shuttles are a great option, inexpensive and frequent. They are still my choice for local transportation.

    To ask for someone's personal vehicle does not sound right, expecially when so many other satisfactory options are available. Good luck with your request...
