Need to figure out the cost of a taxi vs. USA Transfers... We have an odd situation this year. We arrive with another couple and the 4 of us come in on USA Transfers. But the other couple goes home a day before we do and they are the ones doing the booking with USA Transfers. So they will be using the return portion of the USA Transfers round trip. Bottom line we have to figure out how to get to the airport one day later. Please keep in mind when answering that we will likely have 4 full size suit cases plus 1 carry-on. That may mean we have to take a van back instead of a car. If you have an idea of the cost of a one way taxi (possibly a van) to the airport we'd like to know that number. I would think that just booking the one way back on you own via USA Transfers is your best bet. Maybe a taxi could be a little cheaper (IDK), but just the convenience and reliability of USA transfer would do it for me. Elyse and I left last Sunday from TTR at 1:15pm with USA Transfer. I literally had no paperwork, never rechecked my reservation, nothing. Just basically left it all the way it was when I booked the transfer a month prior. Then on Sunday we sat at the quiet pool bar drinking Ticket to Fly’s until 1:10pm. Got up, gave Ivan a hug, shed a teer, walked to the front door, and 5 minutes later USA was there, right on time. I kind of felt bad for everyone else that was chilling in the lobby waiting, and here we were looking our personal limo came to pick us up. Drank a couple more beers on the ride, and went home with our tails between our legs. Just saying for the price, reliability, and convenience it seems like a no brainier. Plus you can pay ahead so the only thing you need to leave with is that last tip/beer money.
I'm pretty sure I've shed a tear in every USA Transfers van leaving the the resort. Not even going to pretend that I don't :cry: On the other hand, I'm usually unable to sit still with excitement on the way there. These guys must think we are nuts! Nikki
We met loads of great friends last year, we have even met some of you back in the UK, your all more than welcome to come stay with us anytime!
Guys, We did this before using USA Transfers. We arrived with my brother and his wife. but we left at different times. Let them know and they setup 2 pickups from airport and then schedule 2 pickups from resort. I think they added like $10 when we did it. USA will work with you anyway you want.
