So we got sucked into the timeshare from Premier while at Temptations last weeks. The offer seemed quite good and got some bonuses for putting down a bigger chunk of change. But.... I don't have a clue how to access anything. I had to call them for an access code to get online but don't know what else I need. It appears you can create a VIP profile but of course don't have the info to plug in. Did they not give me the info I need or will it come later? Just feel lost and would appreciate any help!! How to access the sites for Premier RCI and world pass would be great. Also, never told us how to set up a referral. Once again, newbies to this concept and want to take full advantage but not sure if I am just stupid or wasn't given the info like I thought would be in my initial packet.
There are a lot of variations between contracts, I've been a Premier member for 12 years and recently upgraded the contract last year to probably same as what you have. is it the Platinum VIP you have? The web page is http://premierbyoriginalresorts.com, but I haven't found any use for it other than checking prices and availability. There are separate tabs to get this, the main page where you arrive after entering password has the member rates for the BASIC premier contract, which are higher than what they put in the VIP contracts. I was just dealing with Referrals yesterday, there is a tab for that which has the same booking engine but with rates for guests who are not members. Basically what I do is use the website to create an "inquiry only" with reference number , then call and speak to one of the reps who will confirm you the rate for your particular contract. As for SFX and WorldPass, you should get a welcome e-mail from them shortly with instructions. I'll send you a PM with more specific details
Thank you! How do we get the login info for the VIP tab? Also when we want to make a referral do we book the trip for them or they just reference is in their booking?
Yeah, I had to just call the numbers on the WorldPass and RCI to get setup. They never contacted us. But we will likely never use RCI - I feel like we lose too much value at this point but I may change my mind when the kids are older and we have different travel needs. WorldPass even though I got in, you still have to email or call in for most of the deals on travel - the website is really only for shopping and restaurant discounts. I was frustrated when we first got home, too. And I found out we definitely paid WAY too much - but we were going on the info our friends got the day before when they signed so we thought it was a good deal. Apparently we both paid too much lol Oh well!
Thank u! Definitely frustrating! I think the contract we negotiated was fair and the freebies sold us. I think in time we will be ahead of the game if we can figure out how it works and to work to out advantage
We know the feeling I spent most of the day trying to figure out how to book a room got that done now. I was wondering about these emails I get about depositing weeks in SFX. Here is what the emails I get say, not sure if I should be doing this???? Deposit and Receive Up To*: • A QUALITY RESORT EXCHANGE • 2 Bonus WEEKs STARTING AT JUST $69 FOR A WEEK* (Approximate Value of $1,300 - $3,200) > Bonus Weeks Info • Up To $1,750 in Savings Credits* To Utilize Towards Purchases in the NEW SFX Shopping Portal! > Learn More • One Deposit Extension* For 12 Months on an unused exchange week. • Reinstatement of any one (1) single expired week*
Only do that if you plan to use the other hotels and not Premier for some of your contract. You can't get them back (unless they change a rule at some point). For us personally, the value isn't there to use the other sites - though I'm not getting these deal emails so maybe it would be if I was getting bonuses! Did you sign up for the emails or did you just start to get them? I've had to set myself up in EVERYTHING. I wasn't notified or automatically sent any password, login, etc info for any of the sites, including Premier. I figure someday I'll have it figured out - and then it won't matter anymore ;-p
Ok thanks, I don't plan on using other hotels I was thinking we will run out of nights before the 25 years in the program so we don't want to trade any of them. I don't think I signed up for anything different. I get at least 5-8 emails a month offering me things most are % off my package if I pay the rest off in cash. I also get emails and one phone call about selling my membership.
We have tossed signing up back & forth. As of right now we are thinking we'll just use someone's referral weeks lol so we can have VIP benefits while we're there next time! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
