    Hi,

My wife and I are considering booking the trip for February. We're in early our 30s and looking for a fun place to relax and party without being surrounded by kids.

This forum has been great addressing some concerns we were having and provided a lot of info, but I still have a couple of questions based on some reviews I read.

    1. Do the restaurants (Italian and Asian if not mistaken) require reservations? If so, how far ahead should we plan?

    2. I read that premium liquor is only available for members, and that regular folks only get the cheap stuff. Is that accurate?

Thanks for your help and hope to book soon. :)

1-Yes, and as soon as you can. The dinner thing can be very frustrating. Reservations spots fill up quickly. You look in and see it half empty. People make reservations and then don't show up, and they dont like to give them away to walk ups.

2-Not sure how premium it is. It didn't stand out as a big upgrade to me.

You can only reserve the restaurants once onsite. We don't deal with it. 90% of the time we just walk up give them $10 and they find a table for us. We don't like to be locked into a time.

What type of liquor you like? We are vodka and rum drinkers. They have sky, Smirnoff and some house vodka called skol. Premier gets Absolut. Not much of an upgrade if u ask me. As for rum they have captain Morgan's which works for us.

I haven't had an issue booking the same restaurant more than one time per week.

The reservation thing can be frustrating because I never want to get locked in to something days away. I normally try to make them that day, but options are pretty limited. Normally early or late are the only things left. The late does work out for us though, as we tend to stay at the pool way long, and then hit the other bar on the way as well.

The other thing is I have showed up about 45 minutes early for later reservation, and they never had a problem with that at all, and sat us right away.

Kyle is also spot on with just giving the host a 10 and getting in without a reservation. Also agree with him on the booze. I don't know much else, because I basically drink Sky and captains as well. Oh and lots of Milagro(tequila)!

On your first trip you may be very surprised how little you will care about making reservations at all. There is so much going on, and the other restaurants are better than I thought they would be. My friend was on his 7th trip there, and he said he has made reservations once or twice ever...just didn't really care.

We went in April. We ate at the buffet almost every day, every meal. There was enough variety, I felt. We did book one dinner at the Asian restaurant and we regretted it. Not because of the food or service (food + service were great) but we missed the whole burlesque show.

I am not a foodie! Only eat at the Asian resteraunt once and didn't like the choices. They actually gave us a plate of sea food we didn't ask for and it was gross because we don't eat sea food. We hardly food a dish without sea food. Wife can't eat Italian because of dietary issues. For us - we eat earlier at a walk in and avoided the resteraunts which required reservations. If you like formal dining and real asian or Italian food than book reservations. I preferred simpler healthy choice at the places you didn't need to book. Besides booking reservations makes it harder to eat when you need to to enjoy other activities.

There is no need to line up anymore you can make reservations for Asian or the Italian restaurants by simply a number from your room. Sometimes you can get lucky and get
there with a reservation later at night.
About the liquor well we ask for what we want and we normally get it.

We had the same questions before our first trip. Best thing I can tell you is, don't hesitate about going and rolling with it! Just let loose and enjoy! Best vacations ever!
