Does anyone know the poplulation of Isla Mujeres or where I can find reasonably reliable population data for it?
I did not see the population in the link that Michael F refers you too but this one, copyrighted in 2007, says 12,000. It seems high to me but what do I know. http://www.caribbean.com/jsp/faqs.jsp?currentDestination=52
Sorry...I tend to be sloppy and post just links. This link should work better: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isla_Mujeres_(municipio) 15,186 "habitantes" reported from a census taken in 2005. But that's for the entire municipality. For the island itself, it is 11,147.
