Just a question, has anyone ever been charged for not returning the pool towels? Many times these towels have made it back to our room or were just abandoned by (along with our dignity), never to be turned back into the towel concierge. We have never been charged for a towel, has anyone?
I have heard of someone having a problem before and being charged $40. Though I can't vouch for that because it wasn't me, and maybe it was just one of them paranoid wife/moms (could have been my own wife), that just say those things to get you to do what they want/are worried about. I think you sign for them at the hut, but most people are pretty wrecked when they are leaving the sexy pool. So you would think this would be more of a common problem with returning towels if they really charge. I can't even find half my shit, let alone return a towel (hence why I have never even got one).
Tip the lad in the morning ,, I end up with 4 towels , we always get Jacuzzi room , you need extras on the floor , or you go flying never had issues
We always returned ours at the end of the day... but they never checked our bands or had us sign anything.
As Donald mentioned, give them a tip each morning and they will help you out. There have been days where we didn't turn them in. I just take them back the next day and swap them out. If worse comes to worse, I always see abandoned towels around the resort. Pick them up and take those back.
Since the Reno, returning towels aren’t an issue! We pick up our towels in the am at the hut and just leave em on our chairs or take to room if need be and no problems whatsoever!!
Most airlines will allow a 5-7lb on the return flight. "But sir..........everything is wet and we had no way to dry it out!" We had to toss some stuff 4-5 yrs ago....
