We are thinking about going next month and have read that the pools are not heated. Do the pools remain warm enough during the winter months to enjoy? We are coming from Arizona, so we have a hard time dealing with chilly pool water.
Wish i could help but i haven't been there in Feburary...The pool is not heated..I'm sure other members on the board can help u better with ur answer...Sorry!! :ernaehrung005:
It depends on what part of the world you are coming from. To the people from Canada, as long as there is no ice in the pool , they usually find it refreshing.:huepfen013: To the people from warmer climates such as Arizona, you might find the pools a little chilly.
The water was definitely during our 6 day stay (Dec 30-Jan 5)- 1st days you could venture in, but the last 3 days it was cloudy and air temps were in the mid 70's- almost no one in the pools at all.
LOL............Canadians like cold water............Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh . Been for New Years and the pool was chilly............still manage to find ourselves in the water. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr wore a top in the water to keep the tits just a little warmer. Drink lots.............then have a dip. April is cool in the morning and bath tub warm in the afternoon. February is somewhere in between.
We went last year and the main pool was heated at Beach Palace. But I have been to many resorts and the pools are always ice cold. I really cannot understand why? They are indirect sunlight all day and the weather is always warm. But here is the dilemma, if you want a drink from the pool bar, you have to dive in :ernaehrung024:
I am not sure how often they do this but one day during the last trip there was hot water being pumped in to the pool. I actually went found people to feel the water coming out of the port to make sure I was not going crazy. The entertainment staff said they do that once in a while but there does not seem to be a rhyme or reason to it.
