Hi All - so just wondered how many plus sized ladies are at TTR - I am a plus sized/tall girl - and I always feel a little intimidated around the slim ladies and fit people - I am judgmental about myself at times - are people mostly accepting to those who are not the fit looking types - my hubby loves me which is all that matters - but I want to wear sexy clothing and bathing suits while we are away without people thinking - omg why is she wearing that?? LOL Anyway - any thoughts or comments would be appreciated - keep them nice though LOL
Many plus sized gals and guys too and everyone is accepting of everyone. I'm pretty sure everyone is judgemental about them selves at times in one way or another. Wear whatever you want, less is more at Temptation, you'll feel great and fit in just fine. In our past trips we never felt or saw anyone one being judgmental towards anyone. T
I am a big girl and no one has ever said anything mean to me .. and I run around as naked as I can get away with . One night I ended up just in a pasty and a thong lol . In march I was 190 heaviest I have ever been and we still made friends and had a good time . thankfully I have lost some weight now ( better for my joints ) but I am still big and I will still just run around almost naked hehe Honestly after drinking all day by night time your brain no longer cares what anyone is thinking lol maybe that's just me hehe just have fun
The fact that you asked the question makes me super excited for you. Obviously it's impossible not to worry if you have never been but anybody that is on here and had that worry before would get a smirk on their face reading that knowing how little you have to worry. If anything, it's the opposite. Every body type is embraced and appreciated there, and once you settle in, realize that's the case and embrace the person inside you that you want to be you will have the best time of your life. And then next year you will be smirking when you read someone else's curiosity about it. Its gonna be great
It's one of the best things about Temptation is how everybody is accepted as long as you are accepting of others
I've had weight changes in the last couple of years due to injuries and surgeries (being away from the gym). The first couple times I was at Temptation, I was pretty fit and felt awesome, although I was (and never will be) tiny. The last couple times, I've been on the larger end of my spectrum, and I still felt awesome. People really don't care, and I think confidence is much sexier than any outfit or body type. That said, I am working to shape up before our next trip - but that's more for my own piece of mind rather than the fear of anyone there speaking theirs.
I feel you on the concerns. I agree that most everyone has something about their appearance that they don't like or might be a little on the fence about showing. I am a body builder and have a decent physique but lacking in the chest area. By lacking... I mean I look like a 10 year old boy with no bra on. LOL! Of course I will be self-conscious about it but I am hoping to get over that while I am there.
I am sure everyone will be quite accepting.. Nobody is perfect!! Just have fun and don't worry about what everyone else thinks. I tell my wife that same thing cause she is having to get herself up for it as well!! VACAY!!!
