Booking our itinerary tomorrow probably, and I was looking at pushing our dates one day later, because it may save me some money on flights. If I do this though, I will miss the foam party at Desire (if it is held on Friday). Is that a must, or is it just kinda fun? We have done the foam party at TTR, and I thought it was ok (wife enjoyed it), but I don’t know if it is worth paying for, which is exactly what I would be doing if flying one day later saves me money. Any and all comments welcome on the foam party. Would definitely help in the decision making.
The foam party is similar to Temptations. It is a good party with drinks flowing. That being said, I am not as big a fan as the wife but due to her interest, we always take part. I don’t know that I would plan my trip around it but will participate while there.
The foam party at DRM is obviously much smaller. It's also a bit less crazy, but still fun. That said, we certainly wouldn't pay extra for it though.
Thank you for the replies everyone. You have helped me make my decision. If it is indeed cheaper to fly out one day later, that is what we will do.
Well looks like it wouldn’t save me any money to switch, so I’m we will be making the foam party after all.
I suppose it's like anything else, it depends on your mindset going in. It "Can" be a great time. But, it can also suck. It's Way fun to be in the foam, roaming around finding new people and feeling, literally, your way through the crowd a bit. It can suck because the foam isn't fun to have in your eyes, tastes foul when it gets in a drink, and mainly it all blows up against one edge of the pool regardless of how hard they try to contain it at the new Sexy Pool setup. It'd be interesting to do it at the Sky Bar pool since it's smaller and more contained, but I bet the logistics would be problematic.
