Hi all - new to the site so I appreciate any help. I am looking to go to Temptation cancun August 16th weekend with about 10 guys- bachelor party. Looking for a fun time, mostly everyone is taken already but everyone likes to go out and have fun. When I emailed the resort they told me that as of next month it is becoming "couples only". Is this actually the case or are they just trying to deter singles from going? I've been to Mexico before and think during the day the pool ganes and drinking are the most fun and this resort seems like it has both. If it is in fact couples only now can someone recommend a different resort in cancun, and if it is not couples only would you guys recommend going to Temptation for my bachelor party? Thanks!! Jordan

Thanks for the responses..GOV hasn't been getting the best reviews. I chose cancun for an all inclusive (we've done a bachelor party in Vegas and it gets extremely expensive). It seems like Temptations is most fun place but if it is truly catered to couples then it's not the right call I guess
A group of guys that large with a bachelor party mentality would probably be accepted better elsewhere.
70% couples 20% single males 10% single females Thats about the normal ratio at Temptation at any given time. You will have a good time, but we think you will have a better time staying at a hotel closer to the downtown club area with a better beach. GOV reviews have stated lots of singles so if you want adults only in Cancun that maybe a better option. The resort stated that its couples only because they don't want you a 10-guy bachelor party there I guess............
If any if the guys want to meet singles we are going into cancun at night. I'm mostly interested in a good time during the day at a nice hotel with good drinks and fun activities. Good food and a nice atmosphere doesn't hurt. I am still leaning towards Temptation- they just got back to me stating that groups are actually welcome. Would you guys recommend we book here after everything I've said? How far are the clubs from the hotel? Thank you very much everyone.
Bachelor parties at TTR probably wouldnt have much fun as theres not many single ladies..If and when I get married i'd do Vegas or a bachelor friendly resort in Cancun..the clubs are a 10 min bus ride...At GOV you can walk to them
