courtesy of the local news site www.koco.com here is the story:  PONCA CITY, Okla. -- A pilot and the motorist of a car escaped uninjured Thursday morning when a small airplane went down in Ponca City. Pilot Paul Kluver said he lost power in his aircraft before he was able to reach the landing strip. As the plane neared the ground, it skidded across the top of a car and slammed into an airport fence. "The plane was coming down, and it hit the top of my car," said Twania Wilson. "Then he landed here. It was pretty quick, but we never thought we'd get hit by a plane." Kluver hit his head upon impact. No one was seriously hurt. could you imagine going down the road and that happening to you??? that would be some scary stuff!
yikes! We live a short distance from Addison airport and quite often experience small passenger planes zooming immediately overhead.
