Hi everybody. Could we get pictures of all the different rooms in the resort? Most of the rooms that we saw from the members pictures are very niece, but in Trip advisory, we saw some pictures of the rooms and they looked horrible. We requested a room on the second floor near the quiet pool. Was this a good choice? We like to have fun, but we still would like to be able to have a good night sleep, if we choose to. One more question. While we were planning our trip, we looked at a lot of reviews for the resort and most of them were very good. In the last couple of days the reviews on Trip Advisory are mostly negative. Did something change at the resort in the last months(December/January)? Thanks :flagcanada:
Hey Pat, Ill see if I have pictures of the rooms, I have a few of mine from last year, but its a member room and down by the sexy pool... For you and what you desribed, wanting some quiet time once in awhile , the second floor by the quiet pool should be fine for you. I have had a few different rooms over the years, none were ever BAD, some needed a bit of attention lol... but as long as your not expecting the Taj Mahal you should be fine lol Not sure why the recent trip reports have been bad, then again, I would want to meet the person posting them, cuz if they are not fun, outgoing , personable people they may not like TTR, some people just do not do research on the resort before booking, Also I think Cancun has had some cold weather lately , so the pool temps may be down and the sun experience may not be up to par, but Im guessing that was just a quick thing... Ill see if i can find you some pics ...
I completely agree. I'm about to hit the 2 million mile mark on one of the airlines I use (most of it has been for fun travel) and I've never found a place like BBG/TTR anywhere in the world. In March I'm going to Zurich and Milan and expect 5-star surroundings, but I'll be back to TTR in April/May. I doubt we'll meet more than a couple of people on the March trip, but I'll probably meet 100 or so at TTR. If you want to meet alot of fun people, go to TTR. If you want a beautiful room, spectacular beach, and privacy, there are a lot of other places that would be better. Just my 0.014 euros worth...

Wife and I went for the first time. We loved it so much we bought a timeshare with Premier! Patio bar is great at 3am, shoot his name slips my mind right now, but tell the overnight bartender "The Honeymooners" say hi. He is a very great guy to chat with
our first trip the resort was still blue bay. i'm pretty sure we had the worst room in the resort - lol! but we just keep going back again, and again, and again...... jan 25- feb 1
