Hi there! Wanted to see what the actual rooms looked like.. and the layout.. not so concerned with the view. I'm curious to know if they're any bigger than the regular room I stayed in last year (two beds). Thanks!
I think most of the rooms are the same size. The 3000 block rooms are a little bigger (overlook the sexy pool), but have the same basic layout as all the other rooms. There are a few suites, but good luck getting one of these.
They ocean view have a sideways layout with a bigger balcony,, the Jac/rooms have the Jac inside This is true for the Quiet pool side,, there are other layouts
We were there is Aug and had the type of room. We had room 1203 and it was great faced the quite pool. Two beds but plenty of room and balconey was big enough to do a few shows very easy
The 3000 block of rooms are bigger, with a great view. We were moved to one of them when we became Premier members, and they told us that the 3000 building is usually reserved for Premier members. That said, I just placed our reservation for June 2013 for our honeymoon, and there are already rooms booked in that building! Hoping I booked early enough to have a chance! Ultimately, if you are not happy with the room you get, just let them know. We asked to be moved while at TTR Cabo, and they gave us a different room with a smile on their faces.
I had a 5000 room that I got a free upgrade because they were full. The view was great in every aspect...it was a long walk up the stairs when you're on the top floor and you end up planning your day around those walks when you're drunk. The room itself is nice, the extra space on the balcony is nice if you enjoy that....the room wasn't really much bigger, just had a little sitting area, amenities are the same. Depending on the room...same shower or slightly bigger stand up with small bench area.
Just an update for anyone curious... my buddy and I initially got a room next to the quiet pool which was just fine.. besides it was by the quiet pool. We moved in an effort to not be too loud in the area. Got put in an awesome beach front room in front of the volleyball court. Only problem was the bathroom wall facing the beds was half window pointed directly at the toilet. We managed to toggle our bathroom breaks though. Just a heads up to anyone not fond of watching/being watched on the commode.
