Just wondering if anyone can verify if there is a free wifi spot at the Golden? Also, does anyone know if US Cellular gets reception there? Just wondering if it is even worth bringing our phones.
No free wi-fi.....they do have several computers in the lobby to use....I think $5 for 30 minutes - as far as cell phones, we don't bring ours.....but we do rent a cell phone from Cancun Valet.....ends up being cheaper than bringing ours and all the high prices that go with it : )
or if you have an ipad or laptop, its $25 for full day wifi. i turn off my cellphone when i get on the plane. last time, i forgot to turn off my phone and since i have android and lots of widgets on my screen (it updates weather, facebook, etc....) for whole week, i was charged $20 roaming, and $60 for 2megabites of data. and my phone was in the lockbox (i guess tmobile got great reception there LOL )
