Which currency is the best to take with me?

And will 1000 pesos per day be enough if I am going all-inclusive?

US dollars seem to have been fine for me each year that I went. $1000 pesos/$80 US per day should be enough unless you plan on doing a bunch of excursions and buying bottles every night.

Don't bother with converting your USD into pesos. The almighty dollar is accepted everywhere and if you need change, they will convert it for you.

I have yet to ever have any dollars converted to pesos. I still end up with a bunch of pesos I picked up as change. I usually just leave it all on the night stand for the maids when I check out.

That's the way to do it, although a few coins always seem to make their way into my luggage and I find them the following year. :lotsofmichaelfs:

Sorry I'm a little confused. Not been to mexico before.

If I'm staying at an all inclusive.. what would be an average amount someone would spend on a regular day/night... not holding back but not going super crazy. In USD dollars please?
