Hi Guys, Really looking forward to my 3rd visit in 3 weeks time, bit of a random one is the bureau de change still across the road from Temptations?? I remember last year the rates used to be quite good there and deciding if to get Pesos in the UK or wait till i get to Cancun as the rate here is not great with 20 pesos to the pound. Will be good to know or if any one is there could you let me know the rates.... THANKS!!!!! :cheerleaders::cheerleaders:
20 pesos is a good rate! It was 17 last time we went. It's so good that they've dropped the departure tax from £50 to £35. Also the $ rate is really good at the moment, we always take $$$s :daisy:
ahhh thanks for the info... i always use Pesos because i get my change back in pesos.. I might take dollars. Last year when i was their i was getting 23 pesos to the pound from Eurochange in Lincoln then over there it was 24/25 pesos to pound...
yeah... thats why i compare it, i think we have been lucky! I'm near Cranwell/ Sleaford way so not a million miles away Cant wait 3 weeks... o yeah was going to say i am flying out with Virgin this time from Gatwick so don't think i pay departure tax.
I drove by the exchange place opposite Temptation this morning, current rates are: Pound 21.30 USD 12.6 sorry, couldnt spot the CDN rate on the quick drive by The rates at the hotel are likely approx 5-10% worse than those above
