Bright and early this morning they boarded up access to Paty-O's and the jack hammers went to work. Whatever they are doing is rumored to take all week to complete. I have heard everything from just re-tiling the floor to a complete remodel. I posted an album with today's progress. I will try and take more pics tomorrow, but we leave on Wednesday.
Thanks for the info and the pics. You heard it here first as usual! I do wish they'd let folks know in advance when they do this kind of thing, I wouldnt be too pleased if Paty O's was closed throughout my stay. Here's the pics reposted from JnLStuck's album:
Thanks for the pics Steve! Please keep us updated with any news you get! About 6-7 years ago we went to a resort that took their one and only pool out of service the week we were there! No mention to us at all! Took us 2 full days to find another suitable c/o place close that could squeeze us in. Talk about angry....
oh sure new tiles on the floor ....lets make it even more slippery.. for those in stelletos....lol...hope its done for aug 13-20....
Looks like just a new floor by the boxes and tools. Shouldn't take more than a week. At least I hope, we get there Saturday!
