Patching Together The Memories: First Trip Review, Dec. 2013

We recently got back from our first trip to TTR. We were there from Dec. 5-12 and met some great people and had a good time - to which I would like to thank Steve and Cancuncare because without it, we probably wouldn't have had such a fun time.

Thursday: We flew out of Detroit - yep - we left 11 degrees Fahrenheit weather and landed in Mexico for a sunny 85 degrees 3.5 hours later... Not a bad start to the week! After setting the record for fastest trip thought customs ever, we were on the way. An hour later we were at TTR and checked in.
We dodged the Timeshare spiel by saying we didn't want a tour and Tim was not feeling well. This is partially true because he had a headache, lol. Our room was literally AT PattyO's, which we were not happy about because we specifically asked to NOT be by PattyO's..They had no other rooms available though, at least till the 3rd day so that stunk. It's true. The music is SO LOUD that if you want to turn in before 2am, you can forget about it. The first night I actually tried to go to bed but the music was so loud I just said F it and came back down to party b/c there was no avoiding it.
Anyway, after arriving in our room and grabbing a quick bite to eat we headed down to the Sexy Pool. By this time it was about 430pm and we had no clue the pool would close as early as it does. BOO. I had alerted peeps in the December Roll Call thread that I would be wearing a red suit with rhinestone straps and sure enough, as we were looking for a place to set our stuff down, we hear, "TIMBECK!!!!!" yelled from across the pool. It was JerandMel! We immediately hopped into the pool and were embraced by a fabulous group of new friends. JerandMel, Butch&Amy, Rocket750 and a bunch of others. Later that night their friends NEcouple01 arrived and joined the group. Before I could even get my first drink we were doing bodyshots off Amy's back, then next thing I knew, my back. Shots all around! Everyone was hammered and the water was warm. My top was off within the hour and we were having a blast. We left the pool when the music stopped and headed to JerandMel's hottub. These hot tubs are small, but we fit four people in with no problem(to save space, we removed our suits:angel2.

It was Lingerie night. After a little downtime in the tub, and perhaps dinner? lol...we went back to our rooms to get ready. I could not believe I was leaving the room on my first night wearing a sheer red Teddy and stripper heels and my hubby basically was wearing euro undies. LOL. Good thing we had liquid courage running through our viens! :daveandmo: Lingerie night was a blast. Great turnout, everyone dressed appropriately and had their party hats on. A quick stop at Nice Shoes followed by PattyO's, and we danced the night away till the Burgers came out and the music died down. We went back to our new friends NEcouple01's room and ate burgers, and then called it a night.

Nice Shoes: Ugh. The place really is a dump. It smells of mildew and there is horrible flow/design. I"m glad I didn't get to see it when the lights were on.

PattyO's: I like it! Good set up for mingling, and the new chairs and tables dressed the place up compared to pics we had seen prior to our trip. The burgers are decent too, especially when boozed up! Music was good that night.

Friday- Boobs Cruise! We were originally supposed to go on the 9th, but having met a bunch of friends going on the 6th, we decided to switch dates. We were bummed that Rocket750 didn't change their dates but happy to go with a group of people we had just clicked well with. We left on time and the party started up right away.

I felt seasick because despite the hot, sunny day, the water was pretty choppy. I opted not to drink at first, which really didn't bother me at all. I had a blast once the queasiness subsided! After a stop in downtown Isla Mujeres, we were back on the boat. Skinny dipping, nakedness, whipped cream shots and chaos ensued. There was even rumors of MaryJane cigs at the back of the boat, which I can neither deny or confirm. :cigar:
Lunch on the island: Best food all week. I really hate to say it. Good for Boobs Cruise, bad for TTR lol. We had fun in the Ocean while others played the lunchtime games. Our friends NECouple01 were the winners of the crazy games. Back on the boat. The drinks were flowing and the music was thumpin'. Chinos busted out the middle finger hat, and Omar was looking hot in his sheer swimsuit/briefs. After lunch is when the party REALLY picked up. More whip cream was had by all, a group of us girls had to suck it off various bits of NEcouple01's wife, and then they had to :69: because they were the lunch game winners! lol If you really sit back and people watch, you could find many blow jobs and sex happening, but no one seemed to care and no one gave a shit! Everyone was having fun. It's funny when you are on a Boobs Cruise.
NO OTHER party boats even come close to rivaling the party we have. Passers by look forlorn as they snap pics of our naked breasts and we save and shimmy at them, or stick our rear ends out toward them and shake our butts. There were a few boats with random people that you could tell SHOULD have been on our boat, but alas...lol. We pulled back into the dock at TTR right about 5pm or shortly before and headed straight for the sexy pool.
The party wasn't jumpin' today though, and the pool was cold. We got out after just a shot or two and headed for dinner at the buffet.

We were supposed to all leave for our respective naps and then meet up for White Night, but somehow we wound up back in JerandMel's jacuzzi! This time we fit 8 people in it! Don't ask me how! We were unsure who's body parts belonged to whom! All we knew is that there was 8 nude people and the beers kept magically appearing on our ledge, thanks to the most awesome Oliver at the Quiet pool bar!! :beer4: At one point *someone* who shall remain nameless unless she confesses herself - tied a balloon to my husband's *ahem* man parts, and she was yanking it! Funny! The balloons had floated into the porch from an unknown source but we had fun with them anyway. Tim was too drunk to care that he was being yanked around - lol.

That night was White night, but after napping everyone besides my hubby was too tired to party. I was willing to rally, but he had just heard from our buddies and everyone was lying low. I hopped in the shower thinking we were just on for the 2 of us for White night, but when I got out, he was already asleep. We hit the hay around 930. The music from PattyO's was thumpin'...but we were too tired and drunk to care.

Saturday: Finally got moved to a room on the quiet side overlooking the quiet pool. Funny how it's not that much farther away but makes a world of difference! YAY! The room wasn't great, but after being in and out of a few rooms already, I wrote it off as typical. Musty, rusty, and sparse. Oh well.

Ready to hit the sexy pool and party, and that is just what we did. Fully recovered from a full night's sleep, we had breakfast and were at the pool basking in sunshine by approximately 10am. This was a great day for the pool. The gang was all there and bodyshots came once more. So did Tequila shots, (none for me, but too many for the hubby half of TimBeck2, no thanks to Craig from Craig & Jules lol) and whatever creamy coffee flavored shots RedBull was dolling out...YUM! This was a crazy day at the sexy pool. Way too much booze and too much fun had by all. The girls were taking body shots off Tim's abs which quickly turned into body shots off his babymaker!! LOL! This was while it was still light out, and it's one of the last things he remembers from that day.

The game plan then was to get cleaned up and glammed up for dinner, but after too many drinks, Tim never made it out. He disappeared when I was in the shower, and I found him after scouring the resort, passed out on a bed by the sports pool in full on red jammies! LOL. ButchNAmy said they saw him too and also tried to wake him up but it was of no use. TRUST ME on this one- There is no disturbing him, try as we may. I was a little bummed to go to dinner dateless with a group of 12 or so, but I made the most of it. The wine was going down easy and after Red aka Christmas dinner at Margaritas, we were ready to party. One of our friends got very sick within an our of dinner, and ended up missing red night all together and puking all night! Not from Alcohol, either. A group of us went back up to check on Tim since he had disappeared from the bed by the sport pool, but I was locked out of the room and he was too passed out to answer. No matter, the party must go on. The foam party was that night at the Sports Pool.
The wind was blowing foam everywhere. A couple of people got in the foam, but the foam was in a small fenced in area and didn't really make too much of a party atmosphere. Rocket750 and I danced in the pool and around it, waiting for the party at PattyOs to take off. Ran up to check on hubby but still not able to bring him back to consciousness. Back to partying. At PattyO's, RedBull was my stand-in date. We all laughed and danced till the burgers came out, at which point I was drinking water and ready for bed. We got burgers (one for Tim too b/c I was thinking he needed some carbs to soak up that alcohol!) and RedBull being the dear that he is, walked me back to the room to make sure I got there safe and to check on Tim. Sunday: Rehab day. I woke up feeling like I had drank the night before, but after attending breakfast by myself, I felt totally normal. Went back to the room and hubby was stirring. Breakfast, round II, and rehabbing by the quiet pool. Met up with friends on the beach and chilled, minus the sick friend who was fearful to leave his room to venture too far from the toilet. No one really felt like drinking till the afternoon. We decided to go visit the GOV. See my review HERE.
After that, went to sexy pool, not much action, hot tubbed a little, and then back to the rooms to get ready for dinner. Dinner this night was at Villiage Wok with JerandMel. Best service and food in the resort, we thought. Poor Christian from NEcouple01 was just starting to feel better and made it out of the room in time to get some take out and go back to his room. What a bummer of a day/night for them. It was school girl night. School Girl night was poorly attended. I showed up down there at 10pm in my slutty uniform looking sorely out of place as I was about 1 of 5 school girls and the only one showing my ass lol. Ah well, when in Rome...:flash: I had a couple glasses of wine (Really love Eduardo at PattyO's btw!) and we turned in around midnight.

Monday: A lot of peeps were on the 9th Boobs Cruise, the pool was kinda mellow. We lounged around but didn't do much. There was no theme night that night for CCC group. Temptation said/announced that there was going to be a Bali night and a Caribbean BBQ, and men could wear their Hawaiian shirts...but we never saw it. Every now and then you could find some stranglers in their Tommy Bahama shirts wandering around, but there was no BBQ to speak of. Still never figured that one out.


Crap! I'm out of time. I'll have to finish and do the 'review' part later as far as food and service is concerned.

Thanks! Yeah, we loved the Jacuzzi rooms. Didn't think we would want one but after being able to chill in them, we wished we had gotten one.

No problem! You guys will have fun. I didn't know what to expect either but we had a blast. The key is to chat with ppl here prior to your trip. True to form, the people we hung out with and talked to the most were people from here that we had talked to before the trip. When it gets closer, jump in the April roll call and DEFINITELY get signed up for a Boobs Cruise at the beginning of your trip if you can. I think it sets the tone and you will meet a lot of peeps!

 

Monday: Said goodbye to our new good friends. BOOOOO!

We went to the Sexy pool and hung out, met some more peeps, and I coerced Tim into doing the Mr. Temptation contest! It was all fun and games till I had to get naked too! LOL. Part of the contest was 50 points per top they could collect and 100 points for the bottoms. Only thing I didn't realize is that SOME people are asked to get out of the pool to retrieve their suit! DOH. LOL. Anyway he did a great job gathering suits and riling up the crowd, showing off his sexy bits and got the ladies cheering despite his white boy moves. he won!!

It rained a little bit, but nothing major. The pool was kinda cold though so it put a damper on things. We took an afternoon siesta before dinner. That night we had a nice dinner with SethShannon at Il Piacere. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice, but the food was just OK IMO. We did enjoy dressing up and being served though. 2nd time we felt like the better wait staff is in the nicer restaurants. We had a great time talking with SethShannon and comparing stories over a long dinner and a few glasses of wine. After that we went to PattyO's and hung out and had some drinks briefly and said goodbye to RedBull who was leaving the next day. I had some wine and turned in earlier than hubby if I remember correctly. My party hat was all fizzled out.

UTuesday: That night was our last night with some of our original buddies! We went out with a group of 8 to the seafood place - which does not require a reservation. It's a little more casual than the Villiage Wok and Il Piacere, but not as casual as Margaritas. It was ok. I had the almond fish, which I would recommend if you need a fish that is mild.

After that, we went to PattyO's and met some people from Iowa. The music was awesome that night. There was a great cover band doing all types of American Classics, (Journey, Guns and Roses, Def Leppard, etc. The guy COULD SING and the guitar guy was a force to be reckoned with. Everyone was getting into it and many people were dancing. Anyway, hung out with the Iowa peeps, - one of the couples is on the board but I can't remember their names, and they brought some friends with them. We had a great time chatting it up with them. We were supposed to exchange info but didn't end up doing it because it rained the whole next day and we didn't really see them except for at Breakfast! BOO! So if you know who I might be talking about, please let me know! They were there Saturday the 7th through Sat the 14th.

We definitely tipped the drinks back that night and mopped up the booze with another famous PattyO cheeseburger before hitting the hay.

Weds: RAIN! Lots of it. We bid adieu to Rocket750 & co shortly after breakfast. It was our last real day here and we didn't want it to spoil the fun. Hubby was feeling the effects of captain and coke and we decided to sleep in and then head down to the pool only to find a measly bunch of people hiding under the bar where they could be out of the rain. Our only other option was to hang out in the room or play volleyball, so volleyball it was! At one point it was raining so hard we could hardly see. Manuel did a great job keeping it fun though, and we played several games with full teams.

After that, it was back to the room to clean up and nap. The rain kept on going, so we stayed inside most the the day/night. We got a few drinks from Herbert at the quiet pool bar - LOVED HIM! Apparently the rain let up and a decent crowd came out for Leather and Lace night..but we were worn out and in bed and never made it down to PattyO's that night.

Day 8. More rain, and our transfer came at 1130. We were sad to say goodbye to Cancun but ready to be at home in our own beds!

Re this part of the report...
'The girls were taking body shots off Tim's abs which quickly turned into body shots off his babymaker!! LOL'. Isn't that every guys dream? I mean where else can that happen besides TTR? We had similar fun in October but it involved gummy bear shots. We are both lucky to have such supportive/understanding ladies lol. One of the best days ever. And it is amazing how much fun those hot tubs can be if you use them right. Imagine if you could transplant all that fun to a place like gov with better restaurants, rooms and real hot tubs!

 

It was great meeting and partying with you guys. We were just telling the Tim/balloon in the jacuzzi story to some friends over the weekend. Funny Stuff! Hopefully we can hook up again on our next trip. From talking to Jerry and reading your review, it sounds like we have to give GOV a shot next.
