Hey all, Just thought it was interesting and decided to share. We filled out paperwork and sent off for our passports 10 day ago. A sent me a text today and informed me they came in the mail. We are def not complaining, we just thought it was really fast. They told us it would take six to eight weeks. Anyone else got them that fast? We did not pay any extra money to have them processed faster. TTR here we come!!!!!

    Very quick!

I got my passport back in 2008. I was also told it would be 6-8 weeks before mine came in the mail but I received it in just eleven days. I was thrilled!

Fortunately, we dug ours out two weeks ago - because we found that wife's was still in her maiden name (we've been married 3 1/2 years). So, we paid the extra $$$ to have a renewal expedited. Hoping it arrives before our plane takes off on the 13th.

My SIL fought this before our April trip. I told her that I would not have bothered changing it until she got back. Changing the name on your air reservation may be easier. Your passport is your photo id, and you can match your name on your air reservation to the one on your passport.

Wish we'd have thought of that.
