Wondering what a good strategy is for grabbing 2 pool loungers beside each other during the day at the Party Pool... just curious looking for tips
It's super easy opencpl! Get up at 7, throw your T-shirts or towels on a couple loungers and you're good to go have breakfast or whatever. You will find there are entire groups of chairs in primo spots blocked off by groups of friends and whatever but there is still plenty good spots left at 7. Britsrhot2 probably didn't notice you only had 3 posts and are new! All question are reasonable! Welcome to the board!
We were able to get two chairs together easily on our last trip in May...and that's a busy month. I always wake up early...have some coffee...we eat breakfast...walk the beach and wander out to the Sexy Pool around 10 and plop down in chairs...we normally had a few choices of where to sit. Reserving chairs the night before or at the crack of dawn isn't necessary.
Agreed. Someone in bound to wake up early enough to roll out of bed, drop your towels/magazines/etc down on a couple chairs, before heading back to bed or off to breakfast. If you can do that before 8am, you'll still get some of the better chairs for all-day sun. Before 10am and you'll still find something together.
we got a t-shirt size 3x made with our logo on it wake up early in the morning or at 4 a.m. When you go to bed throw a chair
It all depends on were you want to sit and whether there is a boob cruise that day. If there is a boob cruise, seats by the pool are really easy to get somewhere. If no boob cruise, than some days it difficult to get a good spot. We simply got up early and dropped some books on chairs in the early morning to get decent spots. If you just want seats and don't care where than about 9 or a little earlier is fine most days. That's we found on our first trip anyway. With people scrambling to book before the renovation, I don't know whether the full capacity will effect getting pool seats. Some of the late night crowd put T-shirts on chairs at 4 or 5 in the morning. If you buy a package than you get "special" seat on a deck and those seats were usually easily available still by noon.
By all means reserve a seat in the morning (assuming you're awake) but just remember to be polite. In other words if you are not planning on getting to the pool until 2 or 3 pm don't bother, there will be chairs available then, I promise. Also, you don't need 17 chairs etc. Like I said, just common courteous sense.
