Has anyone been Parasailing in cancun? Best place to go to parasail? Is it as fun as it looks? Any other ideas to surprise my fiance on our honeymoon?

We went up last April. When you walk down to the beach, hang a right and they have a booth set up where they sell the parasailing. I was sooo scared, but as soon as we lifted off the boat, it became peaceful so fast. It was nice to have a birds eye view of the resorts and ocean. Enjoy :)

We did the parasailing last year. We purchased it there at the hotel from where you get the towels. It was a great experience. From way up high you can see many of the different hotels along the beach and if you see big dark circles in the water, those are sea turtles. We saw several when we were up. We went with another couple and he is afraid of heights, but he came down and said it was a blast and he'd do it again.
Just do it and have fun.

One of the couples we are going with is apprehensive about it but we've talked them into it. It's like zen in the sky. Peaceful. You have to try it at least once.

They winch you down and you land smoothly on the back of the boat. We went at the resort we stayed at in PdC and I think it was $100. Worth every penny.
