For all of you who helped vote for "Marisa" for Miss Temptation, we want to say a sincere and grateful thank you. Although Laura missed the win, it was amazing to see that so many people were willing to take time to help. We ended up with way more votes than we anticipated...and we did promise $1 per vote to St. Jude's. We're going to have to do it in installments, but we sent the first $200 today: 2 "No Mo' Chemo" parties, 2 holiday parties, and a share of a bone marrow transplant. Sorry you didn't win but WOW WOW WOW to the St Jude's donation. This is a perfect example of blending fun with mindfulness, partying with charity. I don't know you two other than from the board here but I'm gonna throw my hat in and sign on to the St. Jude's website right now and give some $$ -- if there's a place to put a name I'm gonna type in "TTR Marisa." No one'll know what it means but just know it's out there cuz of you two!

I am so thrilled to hear all of you are donating too! It's such a great place--every kid gets top-notch treatment regardless of ability to pay, and the organization makes sure that the parents have lodging and support so they can be with their kids during treatment.
