Packing With Zip-loc Bags?

I have noticed a lot of people using zip-loc bags for packing. What’s the idea/secret behind this? Thanks

 

Organizing theme night per day.
It happens to us before our suitcase got wet and all of our clothes as well so by using ziploc it keep them clean and dry

 

It also great to keep them organized. You will be surprised how similar and things get when you have a pretty good load on. Also so many strappy things tend to get tangled.
And just a personal thing. If it doesnt fit in a zip lock sandwich bag she shouldn't be wearing it. But that's just our rule

 

Instead of digging through all of my clothes to find a teeny outfit and trying to remember the theme for the night when I've had a bit to drink, I pack each one in a zip lock bag and label it for the night it is to be worn. It makes it a lot easier!

 

I like that ideology “ If it doesn’t fit, she shouldn’t be wearing it”

 

I can see needing to keep things simple, after a day full of drinking.

 

It also keeps everything fresher with all of the humidity there. We use the Ziploc bags with a dryer sheet in them.

 

Stacia started packing with the ziplocks a few trips ago. She does it to keep the outfits organized. Grab a bag, it's a complete outfit's setup, sans shoes.

 

I do the same!

 

I even bag my swimwear with the matching cover-ups and any bit of pool jewelry I wear with the suit. The faux Ziploc bags at the dollar store are fine...it's not as if something is going to leak out.

Bagging your outfits is also a good way of making sure you are packing everything you need for a particular outfit.

I should bag my husband's clothes 24/7/365, so he won't put together such atrocious outfits. One time he put on green pants with a green shirt and he looked like the Jolly Green Giant.
