i just got a text from craig and he said to be sure and let everyone know to pack a little mosquito repel as the mosquitoes have been much worse this year than previous years my guess is all the rain they had down there the past few weeks rob
that is true Rob, this was the first year ever that I get bit a few times, not so much during the day by the pools, but when we were hanging on a buddies first floor patio around sunset...still not a major thing, but definately worse then previous years, though I would have loved to check the blood alcohol content on the mesquitos after they left me
lmao yeah..............these days the police probably would have tried to arrest the mosquitoes for pi too rob
Never had them in Oct... June should be interesting because the Canadian ones love me *L*... lets see if I have international flavour. *L*
Totally off topic, but gotta tell this story....I was laughing one day cuz one of the birds took a rather large healthy one on my patio...so i go down and tell the guys i was hanging out with about it, they proceed to tell me how tony was the recipient of an airborn gift himself, but he actually got hit by it....so later that day were sitting on his patio having drinks and steve brings out a bag of chips , as were eating them , he is throwing some to birds and they are all swooping in to eat the chips....I then look down and realize that he is feeding them JALEPENO DORITOS.....So it was no wonder the birds were flying around Temptations with fully loaded ass cannons...
Drinking large amounts of Electric Lemonade seems to keep them away!:blueshock: Or maybe you just don't notice. Of course there are other effects!!!:drunk::wuerg011: George
rdubnpk We have the same problem around here with the seagulls. Those of us who are natives know better that to feed them, but the tourists and kids throw food out for them and the next thing you know they are all over the place. And I mean all over the place!!
