I noticed a few people have posted about the hotel being over booked in Cancun. I was curious if this is happening in Los Cabos as well? We are planing on coming in April and I would be really disappointed if that happened to us.
We were booked for march 3rd-9th and then they called said they made a mistake and we are now going to Los Cabos....
I have not heard of that happening at Cabo. I do know at Christmas, the resort was completely full and they move the entertainment staff that live at the resort to another resort to accomodate the guests.
Great to hear! I'm searching like crazy to find a good deal on tickets right now. I live in New York state and my flight options suck. Most have us traveling over 20 hours on either the way there or way home and that is rather frustrating when you only have a certain amount of time to travel. I don't want to spend a whole day of "vacation" in airports! That was one of the biggest reasons for picking Cancun last time and what almost had us picking Cancun this time. But I really can't stand the thought of dealing with over booking! Plus I REALLY want to try out that hot tub!!
No issues at all for us but then again we were at the resort by 1200 noon and arrived on a monday totally not busy till friday night Steve and Connie
We just got back on Friday and had a great time. There were some problems with overbooking in Cabo. Our friends got in late and were put in a jucuzzi suite. We heard from several people that they had overbook by 30 rooms and the people who came after our friends were put-up in the hotel next door. Very nice hotel but they were not happy with all the kids runnning around since they were looking for ADULT ONLY! OUr group (12) all had a great time and the staff were all friendly.
Sorry to hear about getting bumped, but it is good to hear that there are a lot of guests. At one point, there were trip reports last year saying that the resort was only 30-40% full.
