Outfit for hubby to wear on Cowboy/girl night

The countdown has begun for us and we have found that coming up with a cowboy outfit for the hubby hasn't been easy. He has the shirt, big ole belt buckle and boots but no idea what to wear besides jeans, but with the heat/humidity they might be to hot, trying to avoid the dreaded cut off jeans, really don't want him looking like one of the Village People. Anyone have any ideas, I suggested assless chaps :bootyshake: but he doesn't seem to like that idea. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Last year the guys cut up an old pair of jeans and cut the sleeves off of a shirt. Here is a pic.

I would go with the linen beach pants, most are draw string but can find some with loops; gives a more Mexican cowboy look. I've learned that as long as you have one item/accessory on, you're good for theme night. Like St. paddy's day, gotta wear the green somewhere. Which leads me to think that maybe we should invoke a new TTR rule that if you're not dressed for theme night, you get pinched!

 

Cowboy boots and a belt with a really big buckle to cover the junk and ur done
And of course a cowboy hat ....

 

I have a cowboy hat, leather vest, a bullet belt, and assless chaps, that's about it.
Pretty much the TTR version of the naked cowboy

 

That picture made me realize how thin the line is between cowboys and Larry the Cable Guy! :sunny:

 

Maybe buy some assed chaps?

 

All chaps are assless by definition. It's why they aren't pants.

Still awfully hot to wear down there (especially if you think jeans would be bad)
