First let me say thanks to Kev & Maya, Bill & Mindi ,Rick & Alisha, Matt & Nancy and others we met along the way. These people made our trip. I know we will get together with Kev & Maya again many times as we have formed a life long friendship. I hope we can do the same with everyone else too. You know how to find us. Friday night- Well we got bumped to The Blue Bay club because the hotel was overbooked, which seems to be a theme there right now as we heard this from a many people throughout the week. Blue Bay, I wouldn’t recommend it. Bad food just not great! Two good things about getting bumped, first we met Bill and Mindi and Rick and Alisha from the cancuncare website. Great people and we ended up friends. Second thing, Temptation took care of us really nicely when we got back the next morning. They can bump us anytime on the first night if they will take care of us like this again! Saturday… We headed for the beach and got our vacation started while waiting for our room to be ready. This being our 3rd time to the resort we got situated fast. Right away we saw some people from the last couple of trips and recognized the bartenders that we liked and we were rolling. As we were waiting for our friends from Quebec to show we met Matt and Nancy another great couple. Then Kev znd Maya showed and our group was formed. Hung out for the day drinking eating and watching adult only games… SAME GAMES and MUSIC AS LAST YEAR! Hung out at the patio then called it a night…… Sunday.. Sexy pool time…… The weather was iffy and the pool was cold but we relaxed and met more people…. Sunday was pretty much the same as Saturday, got to know our old and new friends more. Monday.. Steves booze cruise was a blast. Funny thing was when I introduced myself to Steve and he spoke with a English accent I thought wow how is that voice coming out of you? I didn’t know he was English! Great guy and wonderful wife. The cruise was really a lot of fun although we got rained on a bit but the alcohol took care of that. If you have a chance to do one of his Booze Cruises DO IT! Decided to hit Coco Bongos that night with the resort but never made it. Hung around, MORE DRINKING Tuesday and Wednesday we hung around and partied as the weather permitted and just enjoyed the people we were hanging with. Again: same games and same music as last year. Wed. night we ate dinner at the Asian Restaurant with Kevin and Maya… GREAT FOOD…… MORE DRINKING Thursday… When we got up that morning it was beautiful outside so Kev and Maya Darcie and I decided to go to to isla-mujeres Island. Welcome to Isla Mujeres Net. The official web site for Isla Mujeres, Mexico We took the city bus to the water taxi and away we went. Very easy to take the bus, just ask the front desk at the resort for exact pesos. isla-mujeres is really a cool place, we rented a golf cart for $43 US and toured the island. It’s a nice way to get away for the day. Thursday night is the Casino night/ lingerie night ….. Really a blast but with a major complaint. TO MANY SINGLE GUYS AND PEOPLE WHO DON’T PARTISIPATE LOOK AND TAKING PICTURES WITHOUT ASKING. Seemed groups of single guys were arriving like crazy to the resort witch for us was a huge turn off…. They change the atmosphere of the resort for a lot of people. We heard many people saying they won’t be back next year due to that. Not only do they embarrass themselves but some of them piss off a few boyfriends and husbands not to mention the girls. The last 2 trips we made here weren’t like this at all, mostly couples. I also heard Chinos jump on a few people for taking pictures without asking. Our chances of coming back to Temptation at this point were warring thin. Listened to the same loop music and hung out that night. Friday… Friday was a great day so we hung by the pool and drank watched the same ol games and said good bye to friends we hope to see again. Saturday home. Did we have fun? YES but that was because of the friends we made and the group we hung with. Not because of the resort itself. Will we go back? Not unless the resort goes to ADULT/ Couples only……If my wife needs drunk single guys who think they are gods gift hanging on her we can head to our local biker bar. Doesn't cost as much to get their.
Thanks for the report. Maybe in a few days the good (memories) will overcome the few rude people. We had a similiar episode or 2. The cameras are what bothered us. If you do not participate,they should say no pictures,or like the old days, no entry. Not too many other options to enjoy yourself without kids running around. We will return .
On our last night we also had a similar experience with 4 single guys. I don't mind dancing with anyone, but when I don't know you very well we will not be dancing close. Another lady and I had had enough and we decided to head to Patty O's. We left with our husbands only to be followed by the single guys. I am glad that I remembered a little French and I think I got my point across to them to leave us alone. ( My daughter has since corrected the order of my words--teenagers??!!??) The comment made to me by one of the guys was "Hey, this is Temptations, right?" This is the first time in 5 trips I have had this experience like this.
certainly understand what you say about the friends and all for T and i we only go there at this point because our friends go there - not because we find it an awesome place to go........... this is not to say that we have not had a good time there............but we have casually learned that we are going to have a blast wherever we are......as long as we are with our friends/family rob
i love you marsh but this is where the love spat occurs typical american response to any problem is always to blame the wrong thing - in my opinion its the whole foundation of the pc movement ...............to never address the real issue always do the conveneint superficial stuff that really has absolutely nothing to do with the root of the problem i assure you the problem here is not single guys and it is certainly got nothing whatsoever to do with a camera camera aint got shit to do with anything unless its either (a) in the hands of somoeone who takes pictures in an appropriate manner (b) in the hands of someone who does not it really is that simple instead it has everything to do with disrespectful people (be they single, married, bi sexual, trans-sexaul, african american, indian, caucasian, texan or mexican) who happen to use a camera in the process of being disrespectful rob

I could not agree more, after reading what Nalisa wrote, I was thinking man those are the kind of people that give singles a bad name, I was thinking wow , some single guys have balls to think that every woman at TTR is open game and I fully understood her displeasure and from that angle could understand why some people would hate people like that, and just as I was about to type an apology from all single guys, I realized its not single guys, its rude, Disrespectful people in general, Cuz I go every year with a few other single friends and none of us would EVER go to that extreme or be that disrespectful....I always have a great time and with my camera in tow lol.....so i decided its not my job to apologize for single guys....instead I will wait for a rude, disrespectful S.O.B to come on the board and apologize to everyone for their actions and camera work, wether their married, single, "LIfe Partners" or whatever.......Think of it this way, any couple that is on this board , could get a divorce or seperate next week, Does that mean you automatically become a pervert or disrespectful if you want to go back to temptations next year as a single person....I think not....JUST SAYING
