So I had our wedding planned at GOV but now I hear they are closing so I need suggestions on a venue in cancun or near all inclusive and adult only I really don't want a bunch of kids running around. I only have about 11 months to plan now. All my research that I have already done just got flushed with the news today. Any help would be great. So have anyone on here gotten married at TTR and if so a short review maybe some pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Have you looked into GP? It is adults only and a smaller resort with a beautiful beach and wonderful staff
We went to TTR for our honeymoon and have been back 8 times. We have seen weddings there and they looked very nice. And congrats in your marriage! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - Angela
Our son got married at TTR last April, and it turned out very nice. There were 42 of us there total for the wedding. The resort did sell out before everyone got booked, and a few guests booked at the Cancun Bay next door. TTR gave them a great deal on a pass for the wedding day and evening. This was actually a great plan with some of the guests not knowing how to react to TTR. The wedding was on the beach in the gazebo by the Seafood Restaurant. They closed at restaurant for the evening, and the reception was held there. We all went out on a catamaran the next day, and for dinner together the next night. Lucelena is hard to get hold of, but really good when she is in action.
Secrets Maroma Beach (Riveria Maya) is Beautiful, one of the best resorts I have ever been to - food, drinks, rooms, service, you name it. It's adult only, but not cheap. They have gorgeous weddings there. We had a blast there too. Not the same kind of party as TTR but nice age range, still had entertainment, the night club was open late, drinks were flowing, it was a wonderful time. Congrats on your upcoming marriage! We're getting married in one week at TTR! I'll let you know how it goes. So far the planning has been quite easy and straightforward. We have about 25 people coming with all but two staying at TTR. :lotsofmichaelfs:
Cdlhos let me know please. Really stressing and need to make plans. Who was your contact there? Also add me to you friends so I can check out your wedding and congrats on you wedding.
We went to the Royal Playa del Carmen two years ago and it was an amazing place. It's adults only, but adults means 16+. They had a few weddings while we were there.
