Our thoughts on Temptation

We are an attractive, fun loving couple and we have long hoped for an alternative to the Hedo Resorts in Jamaica because we love Mexico. Temptation does not exactly advertise as a "Lifestyle" resort but.....well...it is what you make it. Desire is a fantastic resort, but it's "couples only" and we very much like having the singles around (wink, wink)

If you are a fun loving couple you are going to have a blast! There are plenty of liked minded people to meet. If you are a single and looking for some no strings fun, well, this is the place for you!

Think about it. There are no kids running around. The atmosphere is charged with “sexy”. The people that book into the resort are well aware of the nature of the resort, unless they didn't do any research at all or didn't get past the "Adults Only" description before booking.

Even if you have no intention of hooking up with others but are looking for an environment that allows you to explore a more liberated and daring side of you, then this is the place to be! You can do as little or as much (within the constraints of the law…lol) as you like.

If being approached to find out “what you are into” is going to be upsetting to you, you best look elsewhere. But keep in mind, that people in the lifestyle are respectful of limits and not pushy.

And, unlike Hedo, our experience with Mexican resorts of this type (Desire and Temptations) is that the guests, including the single guys, have a better understanding of lifestyle etiquette. In other words, they aren’t harassing you and they get that “No means No”. Of course, not everyone says “No”.

Los Cabos weather is a better bet then Cancun, which is cool in the evening and always windy. It’s generally priced better than Cancun. The bars are hoping in town.

Some people complain about the quality of the food and booze. Yes, it’s not as good as some other “vanilla resorts” we have stayed in, with the same star rating. We do wish they would bring the quality up closer to that of Desire and it would no doubt improve their reviews, but, honestly, if we were just looking for great food we would be taking a cruise.

Our priority is fun times with fun people. It’s all there at Temptation. That’s why we are booked for another two weeks at the beginning of April. (April 5-19 2010). Hope to see you there!

We just got back from Temptations, and while I wish what you said was true, just didnt see it that way.

In fact in our 10 day stay I would say just about all the people that were there were not in the lifestyle. All good fun people but not lifestyle people.

Maybe we will have to head there in April... :wink:

By the way we think the drinks and food are good, never had a complaint.
