Here are a few pictures of our new bouncing baby puppy. He is about 6 weeks old and appears to have some golden retriever in him.

He was loaded with fleas and ticks. We gave him a flea bath, a "Front Line" treatment, trimmed his nails and scheduled a vet visit for Monday. No name yet. Any suggestions?

Sound asleep worn out from his bath.

He's a keeper! Good job saving a Cancun street dog. We need more people like you. I misread your email...you might not want to call him Victoria...

Congratulations on the new baby! He's adorable! Now I want a puppy...even though the 6 doggies I have are currently driving me crazy.

I considered naming my little boy pup Barkley, or Milo. I can't think of any other names that would be cute for a boy, at the moment.

How does Chocolat like her little brother?

Milo is a great name. Makes me remember the Phantom Tollbooth...

Oh my, a keeper indeed Tom.

I think I have his cousin. His name is Sundown.

Taken at 7 weeks. He is now 50 lbs. and 5 1/2 months old.
He is a mix, half Golden Retriever (mom) and half Yellow Lab (dad).

I was going to say he looks more like a Lab to me, I have Goldens and have had Labs and this little guy looks more Labish. Adorable no matter what you call him.

Yeah, I agree, he's got some blond lab in him...I love labs.

I had a black lab and gold retriever mix, she was the most loyal dog you could ask for, even temperament. Big, loud and scary but wouldn't hurt a flea (well maybe a flea), perfect guard dog. She was all black with long hair, she was gorgeous...and I still miss her...

Sam, our first street dog rescue seems to have a bit of blond lab in him...and he has the same wanting-to-please-you temperament, but he's not quite as smart as my last dog...

And Lucy, our new street dog rescue puppy might have some black lab in her, mixed with a lot of Mexican street dog...she's sweet and little tonta tambien...
