Hello all, My wife and I will be in TRC for the first time this June. We're in our early 30s and supposedly open-minded. But we're not so sure what to expect. We have been reading the threads as much as we could but could find nothing but some general comments. We have some particular questions which may seem stupid but here they are: - What is the average age and look (e.g. models?) of people there? - Some people say that some games may offend some people. Could one please provide an example? (just to confirm our open-minded-ness ) Cheers Bob
Bob, I would say the average age is probably 40. That been said when you act your age, the average may be closer to 18. What to expect... Average People having the time of their life. We have gone and met people our age mid 30s. Average attractive people, some more so then others but all in all a great mix of people. Awesome personalities and that can make up for alot. As for the games, take the format of the newlywed game add the naughty factor. Think of spring break but with adults. Silly games, Silly fun, sexy charged games for all. There are 2 areas the Party pool and the quiet pool, honestly it wasn't until our second trip we actually seen the quiet pool. It will be a good time for you. If you have more questions, ask away, there are quite a few of us that have a few trips under our belts and we will be more then happy to help answer them.
Hey there....Newbies here, going in June also. When are you going? We will be there the 23rd through July 1st. We are DEFINATELY not models....just your average peeps! 38 and 37 years old...2 kids....10 year anniversary....and ready for a great time! Can't really help you about the games....seems like if Chinos is hosting, just about anything can happen! Don't worry about anything....sounds like after a few rainbow shots...you will remember the motto "Nobody knows you and nobody gives a sh*t"....and will participate in games you may not have otherwise participated in. Have fun and maybe we will get to meet you....Terri
Nice Thanks for your comments. Seems that we'll have a lot of fun and much more. Based on the reviews, I assume that I have to wake up everyday at 6 to get a couple seats at the party pool. Right? We'll be there June 2 - 9 (Sorry Terri, no overlaps). Another question: There are posts about online shopping from WW and MS. I am not sure if we (well, my wife) have enought time for that. Is it a must? I mean, do we pack differently for CRT than for another vacation resort?
As Jim says, we call it our college frat party for adults. You see T&A in the games but full nudity outside of the games is not allowed. You will see every body type that exists under the sun. No one makes judgements, just be careful when drooling. As for open-minded-ness, don't worry. If you've been reading this board and haven't been offended then you're in the clear. As for alternative activities, those that participate in them know that no means no. So if you're interested say yes, if not say no. There have been instances of people not accepting no. They are then wannabees and have no idea what they are doing. Being polite no longer applies. Bottomline is don't worry. TTR has something for everyone. You'll have a great time! Jamie
Since most women only wear the bottoms.... But if your wife doesn't, WW and MS are not require. And for the chairs.... 5:30 works better. Jamie
The place is pretty big, you can have exactly the experience you want from it. If you want a simply, quiet, relaxing vacation, you can stay by the quiet pool (which we were at for about an hour one day before we had to go back to the wild pool), or you can go to the fun pool! There are a wide variety of types of people (ages and bodies). It can range from the singles to couples, 20-something hardbodies to the 50+ young-at-hearts! Honestly though, some of the 40+ people can be in amazing shape and provide the most entertainment, because they are old enough to know that it doesn't matter how silly you look as long as you have fun! Plus, they will do the craziest games! Which brings me to the games part. There are "dirty" versions of pretty much any group-type game you can think of. The Entertainment staff is very good at coming up with these! Some examples include: get the bannana out of the peel from in between your two bodies (think where the bannana ends up and what it looks like!), naked tequila volleyball and body shots on the swim up bar where the lime is hidden a bit south of the girl's belly button and the guy has to get it without his hands! Those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head! The place is a blast! There are some "swingers" there, but everyone we have ever met there is completely respectful and polite. You may get hit on or asked, but if you decline nobody pressures you or tries to get you to do something you don't want to do. Relax, have fun, and don't be afraid to stretch your boundaries! We went down there a few years ago for the first time not knowing what to expect but secure in our relationship and talked about what was ok and not ok ahead of time, and we had one of the best vacations we ever had! Hope this helps! :xyxthumbs:
Thanks Jamie. Many people write "it's not for everyone" and after awhile you would think "what is really going on?". Well, she was but she read reviews about the number of pictures taken every second. Now she's reconsidering it!
Let's see.... does watching a woman fake an orgaism in a contest beside the pool in a contest offend you or make you smile and laugh? Does hearing the f-bomb dropped during a comedy routine offend you or or is just part of the show to you? If that type of stuff doesn't offend you then relax.. you're in for a great ride. As for the pictures.... Yeah there are jerks around the pool every once in a while. But the Entertainment staff and other guest give them so much trasjh that they usually go away. Tell her to go and see what's happening while you are there before making the final decision. If she's not confortable, then she's not and the top stays on. When she's ready, she'll be ready and nothing will bother her. That's the great thing about TTR is there is never pressure to anything you don't want to do. Jamie
2onthebeach: That helped a lot. Seems you're there in late June. You'd definitely have a blast Jamie: Countdown for the great ride then
