I know that there is no Tenecia due this year. I received some information that said there are other fees due on automobiles that need to be paid by March 31st. It has a link that allows you to go online to look up the amount due. When I looked up the amount due it was more then twice what last years Tenecia was. Does anyone have more information on this?

It would help if you would post the link you mention. There will be "verification centers" set up but that isn't up and running yet. Nothing that I know of has to be paid by March 31.

That refers to people who are not current on their tenencia payments and have "adeudos" or past due payents and/or late fees. These do have to be paid if owed. If you paid up through 2011, you don't have to pay anything until the verification process comes into effect and they say the average fee will be about $400-$500 pesos per vehicle.

    Jim,
Thank you for the information. Still not sure why I had an amount show up when I logged into that site. I have paid everything on time since we purchased the vehicle.
