OT: Other favorite Caribbean resorts?

Love TTR, but thinking about doing a adult only group trip next year somewhere different. We've been to others, but there's always some we may not know about. Any input on other adult resorts?

 

Let us know if you find something. We are looking for something different from TTR also.

We were thinking of trying Secrets in Cozumel. Anyone have any comments?

CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

We have been to Secrets Silversands, Secrets Maroma, Hedo 2 and Grand Oasis Viva. We liked all of them for different reasons. The Secrets resorts are very nice, fairly upscale but are pretty quiet. Hedo 2 was fun but pretty run down (we have heard they have updated now) and was fairly pricy. We are going to Grand Oasis Sens May 23-29 and will post a review when we get back. While we have enjoyed all of these different resorts we have found TTR to have the most value (and fun!) for our dollar.

 

what is your definition of Adults ?

 

The Jewel Dunn's River in Ocho Rios was a lot of fun, good entertainment, good food, good drinks and decent price. Secrets Maroma was the extremely boring IMO, upscale, great food, but boring! Couples resorts in Jamaica can be fun depends on the crowd or if your with a group.

 

We stayed at Golden Parnassus our first year. Had a great time. Loved the resort and the staff.... but now our heart belongs to TTR

The vigbe isn't anything like TTR but Stacia & I enjoy going to St. Martin, we stay at Grand Case Beach Club there. Great place. It's not listed ass "adults-only, but there's no kids there the 4 times we've been. Very relaxed but fun place and the location is killer for St. Martin, just about 7 minutes from orient Beach!
