It all start when a friend of mine ask me to find her a good deal to take her little daughter to Disney for the 1st time, his other 3 kids have been there before, so having that in my head the sale from Spirit arrive 1 USD each way to Ft. Lauderdale so I call her she say buy the tickets and I will also take my other 3 kids, next I decide to take my 3 kids also, then call my husband and Lucy husband to see if they were coming with us and decide to stay and final arragment made for a friend of Nuria, Jose Luis whom Nuria ask me to take him as B´Day present. Then I start to do my job and search for a hourse in the area I like (this was the 11th time renting a house) found it and book it for 6 nights and finally get to Universal site to see the promotions and get a very good one for 7 day unlimited pass plus the Blue men group that we saw before at the Sony Theater at Toronto and enjoy a lot. So far we were all set, kids were going to skip the first 3 days of school what means parks will not be full. At this time we have pay USD $ 800 for 10 round trip aiplane tickets USD $ 30 for pre pay luggage and USD $ 500 for 6 days rent in a house with 5 dorms, 4 baths, kitchen, pool, jacuzzi, game room and more. And $ 300 for a rent of a 4 row van for 10 passengers. We arrive to the aiport; Lucy with her kids aged 17, 13, 09 and 6 and myself with my kids aged 17, 15 and a plus of 18. Checking in was easy, everything was pre-pay and proceede on the new terminal 3 to our gate, funny to say people keep looking at us with all this kids. Then I realice that I forgot money at home and become histeric, call hubby and thanks God we have airport offices he send me money with an employee. Land on time to Ft. Lauderdale and divide in families for customs Lucy and her kids went ok, I and my kids went OK and Jose Luis was send to the little question room and even when I try wasn´t able to go in and help him, people is very rude. So we went down to get luggage and wait for him almost 45 minutes. ¿The problem? He made a Europe trip on summer with his parents and visit Germany, Budapest, Croatia so he was suspisous. We ran to another terminal with al the luggage because I was welcoming little Enrique that came back from his Canada Summer Camp and did not know nothing about Orlando and friends, the flight was delay 1 hour so we went into Chills and order food for everyone and I keep checking the screen to see when he arrives, finally met him at the gate and was surprise of how long he was. We than have to change terminal again to get to the rental cars, get our car and begin to drive to Orlando, Jose Luis bring his UPS so it was easy and fun, of course we made arrangments on the car and located the “Gymboree” section on the last row, then young teenagers, then older teen agers and finally XXX moms driving. I pack 3 game boys, 2 psp, 2 Ipods and all what I think will make the trip smooth. Then notice that I didn´t print the house location so call again hubby, he give it to me we drove to the house and it was midnight, we try the enter code and nothing, the phone and we hear it rang kids open the garage and it was open and full of garbage, pops, beers, gasoline so I begin to thought something was wrong, after 15 minutes little Enrique ring the bell and 3 minutes later lights turn on, all the kids ran away and I stay there, the owner of the house made a mistake and send us to the mannager house whom was more than angry, we finally got directions to our house and drive for 10 more minutes. Disney is alright... Church Street Station is a fun place to wander and drink. Lots of fun along I-Drive (International Drive)... Hard Rock, House of Blues, Pleasure Island and all the shops and restaurants around there (Downtown Disney) are fun... good times
