Has anyone order perfume from the US and had it shipped to Mexico? Does customs let it through easily? Any insight would be appreciated...
Personally I haven't, but be careful when shipping anything into Mexico. Just this week I shipped my bridesmaids' dresses from China. I got charged 120% of their overall value in taxes. ($5000 pesos in taxes... no good) Usually for smaller things, I'll wait until one of my friends visits the States and ask them to buy it for me and bring it back in their suitcase. For perfumes, you might try Ultrafemme (in Plaza la Isla, Plaza las Americas and on Avenida Tulum). They sell tons of brand name international perfumes, including Victoria's Secret.
