Only one week has passed.....since my first trip...(sobbing)

I've only been home one week since my first TTR trip and i'm so ready to return. My husband and i had the most fab trip ever. I have thought long and hard (lol) about it. Was it the wonderful jacuzzi room, the welcoming and friendly staff, or the wonderful friends we made there that made the trip so wonderful? I say all of the above!

This was the first time i've ever, in my 37 years, worn a bikini much less gone topless ( on the first day without a drop of liquid courage i might add). It was truly a liberating experience. I am somewhat mourning it now...all of it. I'm back in Kentucky with 40's and 50's tempatures and gray overcast weather and it completely sucks! I miss sunning myself topless with a beverage and chating with the good people i met there.

Got a bit lucky today with a heat wave of 65 degrees...so i laid out topless on my deck with my TTR cup full of bloody mary mix and vodka and my Ipod cranking out my TTR playlist and imagined i could hear Sara69 in the background doing games and that no that wasn't my asshole neighbor blowing leaves from his yard into mine but the blender at the pool bar whipping up another Mango Tango for my hubby.

TTR I have fallen long and hard (lol) for you and i will be back!!! October 2013....or sooner! Christy

Hey Christy, we all can so relate. We will be lying in bed and Lisa says.. I'm back in Mexico, I'm in the pool, I'm rubbing suntan lotion on Mike... That's when I have to smack her and bring her back to reality:cry: When trying to explain our experience to our friends, I ask them if they ever went on a trip 1000 miles away and had to kiss 20 people Good Night when you were finally done dancing! It's an amazing place with the greatest people. The "Boss" says she wants to go twice a year now... who am I to argue. It was great meeting you and Brad, you guys are a blast! I'm sure we will see each other again sooner than later.

I know exactly how you feel Christy. I have been feeling the same way. It was my first time at TTR as well. Not only did I fall in love with the resort but I fell in love with mexico (Cancun, Isle Mujeres). The architecture of the houses, the beaches, water, the friendly people away from the resort, the pace. I love it all. I am making it my goal in life to move there someday.

The friends we met from different parts of the country/world were awesome and we had a blast. Like you I loved the liberation and freedom to be me without being judged. We are going back April 22nd-May 2nd. I can't wait. I hope to see some of my new friends there then.

We feel your pain!!! Already planning a return trip next Hallowen!! It was a pleasure meeting you guys and hope we can meet up at TTR again!

 

I've come to the conclusion that I will always have a trip booked to give us something to look forward to. I also never wore a two piece until we went to Mexico. Never in a million years would I have thought I would be topless in a pool in front of people. It was amazing how no one judged and everyone made you feel sexy. We haven't officially been there for a full vacation. It's coming, only 153 days until I meet some great new friends.

 

I know Paul, trying to explan it to those who haven't been is hard. Everyone i work with thinks we went to a swinger resort and have been converted ( no offense to the lifestylers, i love you guys). They can't understand why i'd want to go again or more than once a year.

I loved meeting you guys and all of those people that i met on that Wednesday..i swear i met like 30+ people (after the purple parrots had done their damage of course) and enjoyed a motorboat from I believe it was Stef in the pool. Brad would know as i'm sure that memory is permanently burned into his brain.

P.S. I swear that is whip cream..i swear it.
