We have always used USA Transfers for roundtrip transfers for past dozen trips to Cancun. This trip, our booking through Original includes a free One-way private airport transfers from airport to hotel. It clearly states: "Private Transfer: This service offer an immediate and non stop transfer to your Resort whitout sharing the vehicle with somebody else", so guess it'll be OK. Question is do we go ahead & book USA Transfer for $35 for going back to the airport? Or just use a taxi back? Anyone knows approx cost of taxi, & how readily avail is it outside resort? Thanks,
Recommend you go with what you know and book USA transfer one way back to the airport. Took a taxi once and it was substandard to USA Transfers for vehicle quality, cleanliness, friendly driver etc.
I would also just recommend the one way USA transfer back to the airport. And just an FYI, your one way included transfer with Original will technically be through USA. Original just uses them, and the ride should be the private SUV.
It just seems silly that the Resort included only a One-way transfer when Round-Trip transfers are only $20 more ($55 round trip vs $35 for one way). Or at least let us pay the extra $20 when we first made the reservation. We spend that much in tips per day, so it's not the $, but just the hassle of making & keep up with a separate 2nd transfers reservation.
