Olympics - Hockey

Ok while waiting for May to roll around and all the snow outside.... A question for those who are hockey fans? Will Team Canada go all the way this year? Or is the USA squad the Team to beat in this year's "run for gold" (just friendly hockey banter....I love my USA CCC /TTR friends)!!!:daveandmo::daveandmo:

we all know Canada is coming home with the gold lol We are hoping we can see a bit of the hockey in the sports bar maybe some friendly wagers on these games lol and for the leaf fans it will be nice for you to be able to chear at a game for a change lol kidding

 

Last winter Olympics we were at TTR and there was a Canada/USA game on. We all went across the street to a local bar that had the game on flat screens. The atmosphere was amazing with the friendly competition between team Canada and team USA. The bar was full of fans for both teams. I am hoping we are lucky enough to experience a party like this again this February. :daveandmo: ...sucked that Canada lost but it was very fun none the less.

 

Like always we're the team to beat, but the large ice does make me nervous......

Sweden? Interesting pick! I still think any goalie is going to have a lot to deal with against Team Canada! Subban's shot from the point is lethal! And Crosby will be a force upfront. Price if he is on his game can steal a game alone!

 

Pffft.. USA might be able to pull bronze at best. Russia/Canada final.

I think you are right. Price has struggled his last few games. Though had a good one in a loss yesterday against Tampa! And that pains me to say as a hard core Habs fan... But it's true. He needs to find his game. Happened about 2 years ago in Feb also!

 

Last Olympics, when Crosby scored in the gold medal game, we were on the Boobs Cruise that day. Managed to catch some of it in a bar on the Island.
Would never had said this when I was way younger, but I enjoyed Boobs Cruise way more.
Seems the older I get the less important major sports events are. Especially compared to hot scantily clad chicks, booze and open sea.

Or as Jimmy Buffet says bikinis, Booze N Boats.
