Okay, I love to party but I also like to sleep. I've read some reviews (tripadvisor, cancuncare, etc) that suggest some parts of the resort are noisy all night (near pattyo's, certain stairways, etc). Any advice? I booked through expedia.com so I might not have any choices on rooms but if you have tips, lay 'em on me. I'd like to be able to get a good 8 hrs every night.

8 hours of sleep a night is a waste of a great vacation!

If you want a good sleep, ask pretty much for anywhere by the quiet pool or away from the sexy pool and Paty O's. The resort is small enough you can get anywhere on site in 5 minutes so don't feel like you will be in the middle of nowhere.

In other words, any building except Building 2, right around PadyO's, should for the most part be quieter. There will be nosie anywhere now and then but in Building 2 it's pretty much 24X7.

That being said, I agree that more than 4 hours a day, and not all at the same time, is a waste of good vacation time!

That's funny because building 2 is our favorite! I would suggest building 5. That's the building we were in at first last year but asked to be moved because it was too quiet lol We love the rooms next to paty-0.

I would suggest building 5 for a peaceful nights sleep. We had a 1 year old last year when we went so we really wanted to get a goods night sleep after partying all day/night.

we got about 3hrs sleep a night, got up to get our chairs by the pool had breakfast and went back for a nap. Another nap at the end of the day before dinner and the night out. It's actually amazing how the body can function on such little sleep!
