Jill and I just got back this past weekend from another great trip to TTR. There has been some talk about the "Thump Thump Thump" music in past threads and I wanted to address that. Being 53 (almost) I have gone through several era's of music as a lot of you have. And of course I have my fav's. My taste is for 80's music...Rock and also some Dance. This trip as opposed to past trips I was really happy with the music. Yes, Yes there was still alot of recent thumping n dancin' music...which I have to say some of it I am starting to like, I even bought a Pitbull CD recently *GASP*. But overall I thought the music mix had tamed down just a tad and there was a sense that you really didn't know what they would play next. Also if you waited until the, lets say 4-5pm time frame at the sexy pool, all of a sudden the music would change and you hear all kinds of music and it seemed like the dance stuff was minimal after that. Same thing towards the end of the evening at Paty'Os. And at the Disco after the shows it seemed they played 60's jukebox music which a lot of folks enjoyed and danced to. I'm guessing the DJ had quit and was playing a CD or something to finish out these times. But for all of you worried about the unending "Thump Thump Thump" it is getting better. Variety is getting better and you won't have to end your sexy pool time or your Paty'Os evening with that Thump still banging in your head. Remember your stay at TTR is what you make of it. And if music is the problem...there's always the "Quiet Pool" with it's toned down beats, quick access to the bar and balcony shows. Have fun on your trip!! Jeff
You even bought a Pitbull cd! The music they play is stuff I never listen to in real life. But,like you,I find myself liking it and can't get it out of my head. And in real life whenever I hear something that's played at TTR,I instantly feel good!Good times!!:musik026:
