:brick: Not ocean view, but old Cancun choice would be La Parilla for authentic Mexican, and La Habicuela for a more elegant experience. I would avoid most everything in the hotel zone.
You're looking for Lorenzillo's, we go 2-3 times every trip. The food is fantastic (seafood mostly) and if you sit on the patio the view is perfect. Great wine list, if you're into that and the service is top shelf. We highly recommend it!
Also not ocean view but Casa Rolandi is excellent. Theres 1 in the hotel zone and also one in almost downtown.
We used to eat at a Steak House across the street.........but..........this trip stay "on resort" for all meals.......we were very pleased!
Lorenzillo's with out a doubt. We go every time for years now. Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Be sure to get a table outside if the weather is nice, you will love it.
I don't know if you remember, but we were at at table next to you two a while back and talked about how we loved the place.
We found a great place - Hacienda el Mortero. The food was excellent and they had great margaritas! They have these cool iron skeletons out front, can't miss it! link: Website
